The knockout stage of the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championship witnessed thrilling encounters as top teams fought for a place in the semifinals.

India, despite a strong run in the tournament, bowed out after a 3-0 defeat to Japan in the quarterfinals.

Having advanced as the second-best team in Group D despite a 2-3 loss to South Korea in the group stage, India fought hard but couldn’t overcome the Japanese challenge.

With this result, Japan moves on to the semifinals, while India’s campaign comes to an end.
