List of Indian medalists at the World U20 Athletics Championships 2026

Senior Asian Champion Pooja Singh missed out on a medal in the women's high jump at the 2026 World U20 Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon, USA, on Sunday.

Pooja recorded a best of 1.84m to finish seventh in the competition, where Australia's Izobelle Louison-Roe clinched the title with a leap of 1.92.

Pooja, who has a personal best of 1.93m, was amongst the favourites for a medal, but couldn't deliver on the day and missed out on the podium.

Meanwhile, the Indian women's 4x400m relay team clocked 3:45.28s to finish 9th in their final, concluding India's tournament in Eugene with three medals.

The quartet of Bhoomika Nehate, Tahura Khatun, Tanu Chaudhary and Thiya Arumugam fell short of their timings from the preliminary round by six seconds.

Overall, India ranked 27th in the medal tally with 2 silver and a bronze, and 17th in the placement table with 33 points, based on athletes finishing in the top 8.
