Annu Rani and Tajinderpal Singh Toor set new meet records with good throws. However, Annu Rani failed to breach the 64m mark required for direct Olympic qualification. Nevertheless, the javelin thrower from Uttar Pradesh is still in contention to qualify for Tokyo Olympics.
Ajay Saroj won the men's 1500m final while Priya bested Poovamma to clinch the gold.
