The day three of Federation Cup Athletics went underway with few more star athletes performing in different events. The main attraction of the day, Tajinderpal Singh Toor took part in the men's shot Put event and clinches gold with a new season best throw of 20.38m.
While, Long Jumper Jeswin Aldrin tried to make full use of his first tournament at the outdoor season which could have push him up in the race to paris rankings but he feel just short of 8m mark and wins gold with his season best of 7.99m jump.
Another eye catching event was in 400m semi-finals when the top Indian quarter runners were in action fresh from their Olympic quota feat earlier this month. Muhammed Ajmal V with the fastest time by an Indian (46.13) this year in men 400m came out as a star man.

Gurindervir Singh of Punjab made it to the final with a brilliant timing of 10.38 seconds
Gurindervir Singh of Punjab won the heat-3 with a timing of 10.38 seconds to make it to the finals alongside Gitson I of Tamil Nadu with 10.81 seconds.
The two lucky losers will went into the favour of Andhra Pradesh's Nallubothu Shan (10.77 seconds) and Jay shah of Maharashtra (10.78 Seconds).

Animesh Kujuur won the heat-2 of men's 100m with the personal best timing of 10.55 seconds. Hassan Saaid of Maldives with 10.73 seconds is the second player to book a spot in the final from this heat.

Nithya Gandhe won the heat-3 of women's 100m with the timing of 11.89secs
Nithya Gandhe of Telangana won the heat-3 which is proved to be the slowest heat of the three to book a place in the final. Nithya Ramraj of Tamil Nadu with 12.13 secs is the second player to book a spot in the final from this heat.
Both the lucky losers will be from the heat 1 as Simi NS of Karnataka (12.02secs) and Kaveri Laxmang (12.08 secs) also from Karnataka completed the finals lineup for women's 100m.

Sneha SS of Karnataka bettered the fastest Indian time this year just broken by Giridharani, to won the heat-2 and a place in the final. Avantika Naral of Maharashtra with 11.93 secs is the second player to book a spot in the final from this heat.

This is the fastest Indian time this year by Giridharani of Tamil Nadu to won the hea-1 and a place in the final. Srabani Nanda of Odisha with 11.87 secs is the second player to book a spot in the final from this heat.
