Avinash Sable joins Neeraj Chopra in Diamond League finals
Steeplechaser Avinash Sable qualified for the Diamond League final in Brussels after couple of withdrawals.

India will have two representatives at the prestigious Diamond League final as Steeplechaser Avinash Sable joins Neeraj Chopra in the season-ending event.
Sable finished 14th overall in the Diamond League standings with the three points he garnered from two races.
However, four athletes ranked above Sable in the qualification list pulled out due to various reasons. While Lamecha Girma of Ethiopia pulled out due to injury, Geordie Beamish of New Zealand, Ryuji Mura of Japan, and Hillary Bor of the USA won't be taking part either.
The season finale of the Diamond League is a two-day affair and it is scheduled on September 13th and 14th.
Sable had two contrasting results from his two Diamond League meetings.
He broke the national record and finished at the Paris Diamond League with a timing of 8:09.91 before the Olympics but at the Silesia Diamond League, he clocked a poor 8:29.96.
Earlier last month, Sable became the first-ever Indian to enter the final of the men's 3000m steeplechase at the Olympics. He finished 11th at the Paris Olympic Games on August 7 with a time of 8:14.18
Two-time Olympic medal winner Chopra qualified for the DL final after finishing fourth in the overall standings.
Chopra accumulated 14 points from his two second-place finishes in the one-day meets held in Doha and Lausanne.
Each Diamond League season finale champion is awarded a prestigious 'Diamond Trophy', USD 30,000 prize money, and a wild card for the World Athletics Championships.
