The domestic season so far has failed to make a mark in the multiple editions of the Indian Grand Prix that were underway last month however, it seems to be on the road to rectification in the Fed Cup. Moreover, the Fed Cup is also the final opportunity for the athletes to qualify for the Asian Athletics Championships to be held in Doha from 21-24 April. The first session of the first day of the Fed Cup saw the qualification rounds and Heats for a number of events. The second session for the day beginning at 15.00 IST includes the following.
