Asian Games: India enjoyed its biggest medal haul of the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Wednesday, with the compound archers completing a sweep of all three team gold and Neeru Dhanda and Kynan Chenai adding another gold in mixed team trap shooting.
The four gold medals, along with three bronze medals from boxing and wrestling, took India's tally to 60 medals: 10 gold, 21 silver and 29 bronze, moving the country up to seventh in the standings.
India's women's hockey team also booked its place in the final with a 2-0 win over South Korea, setting up a gold-medal clash against China.
The action continues on Thursday with several major medal and knockout events. India will face Pakistan in the men's hockey semifinal at 1:00 PM, while the men's volleyball team takes on Pakistan in a quarterfinal at 6:30 AM.
The men's cricket team will face Sri Lanka in the semifinal at 10:00 AM, while Sumit Nagal will play his men's singles quarterfinal against China at 6:30 AM. India's women's squash team faces Hong Kong in the semifinal at 7:00 AM, followed by the men's team taking on Malaysia at 1:00 PM.
There will also be medal opportunities in archery, shooting, wrestling, judo, canoeing, cycling, taekwondo and sport climbing, making it another packed day for the Indian contingent.

Squash, Men's Team Semi-final: India Vs Malaysia in action
The defending champions will take on Malaysia in the second semi-final, vying for a place in the final for the second consecutive edition.
India has won the team title twice in the past, while Malaysia won it once in 2018.

It was a cagey second quarter until now, but Shilaland Lakra produces a moment of brilliance.
Lakra was running out of room on the left, yet comes up with a brilliant reverse pass. Sukhjeet, in front of the goal is in the exact place where he needs to be, and he deflects it in. Beautiful goal!

A brilliant pass into the circle from the left by Manpreet Singh. A stunning reverse stick that. It deflects off the goalkeeper to Sukhjeet Singh's chest right in front of the goal, handing India another penalty corner.
And it's a penalty corner brilliance from Harmanpreet Singh. A brilliant change of angle from the Indian skipper, who also had Jugraj Singh on the second battery.

Dilpreet Singh continues his goal scoring run at the 2026 Asian Games. He has belted the ball into the net from a vert narrow angle from the left.
He tumbles as he takes the shot and the ball goes past the goalkeeper into the net.
But hang on, Pakistan have asked for a review. They feel the ball came off Dilpreet's back stick.
The replays show that they are right. The goal has been struck down, unfortunately.
