India returned in action across a packed Day 12 of the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Wednesday, September 30.
With the athletics campaign now done and dusted, the focus shifts to boxing, archery, wrestling, shooting, hockey, squash, tennis, cycling and several other sports.
There were plenty of medal opportunities for India throughout the day, with the compound archery teams, three Indian boxers fighting for medal bouts, and the Indian women's hockey team taking on South Korea in the semifinal.

INDIA's DROP IN ATHLETICS STANDINGS
The athletics events at the 2026 Asian Games are done and India have dropped three spots from the third to sixth place in the sport's standings at the continental games when compared to Hanzghou.
