Asian Games 2026 LIVE: The Indian women's cricket team and men's soft tennis team is all set to open their 2026 Asian Games campaign on Friday, a day before the opening ceremony.
Harmanpreet Kaur and co will be up against hosts Japan in the quarter-final. A win will put them up against Bangladesh, who advanced to the semi-finals after a wash out against China.
In soft tennis, the Indian men's team comprising of Jay Meena, Om Yadav, Aniket Patel, Aryan Thakur, and Yogesh Chaudhary will play three Group C matches against Laos, Chinese Taipei, and Mongolia.
Besides, Teqball action will continue Quimcy D'Souza in women's singles and D'Souza-Anas Beg in mixed doubles.
