Asian Games 2026: Indian boxing, archery, wrestling teams announced – Complete Indian contingent

With the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, just months away, the process of selecting the Indian contingent for the quadrennial event is heating up.
The national trials for the selection of the Indian team have already been conducted in sports like Boxing and Archery, while athletes have already started breaching the qualification standards set by the federations in sports like Athletics.
Meanwhile, sports like Judo, Swimming and others are expected to host the selection trials very soon.
So far, the Boxing Federation of India (BFI), Archery Association of India (AAI) and Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) have announced the Indian teams for the 2026 Asian Games.
There have been a few upsets as well in these teams, with veterans like Nikhat Zareen, Deepika Kumari, Atanu Das and Vinesh Phogat missing out.
So far, with the boxing, wrestling and archery teams announced, the Indian contingent stands at 41 athletes.

Archery
Men's Recurve: Dhiraj Bommadevara, Neeraj Chauhan, Yashdeep Bhoge
