Asian Games 2026: Indian boxing, archery teams announced – Complete Indian contingent

With the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan just months away the process to select the Indian contingent for the quadrennial event is fast heating up.
The national trials for selection of the Indian team have already been conducted in sports like Boxing and Archery, whereas athletes have already started breaching the qualification standard set by the federations in sports like Athletics.
Meanwhile, sports like Judo, Swimming and others are expected to host the selection trials very soon.
So far, the Boxing Federation of India (BFI) and the Archery Association of India (AAI) have announced the Indian teams for the 2026 Asian Games. There have been a few upsets as well in both the teams with veterans like Nikhat Zareen, Deepika Kumari, Atanu Das and others missing out.
So far with the boxing and archery teams announced, the Indian contingent stands at 23 athletes.

Boxing
Men's: Jadumani Singh (55kg), Sachin Siwach (60kg), Sumit (70kg), Ankush (80kg), Kapil (90kg), Narender (90+kg)
Women's: Sakshi Chaudhary (51kg), Preeti Pawar (54kg), Priya (60kg), Parveen (65kg), Lovlina Borgohain (75kg)
Archery
Men's Recurve: Dhiraj Bommadevara, Neeraj Chauhan, Yashdeep Bhoge
Women's Recurve: Kirti Sharma, Kumukum Mohod, Ankita Bhakat
Men's Compound: Sahil Jadhav, Kushal Dalal, T Ganesh Mani Ratnam
Women's Compound: Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Chikitha Taniparthi, Prithika Pradeep
