Former archer Limba Ram struggles to get medical treatment due to lockdown
Former ace archer Limba Ram has been struggling to get medical treatment in these testing times. He had been suffering with various health issues.
He has been fighting a battle against neuro-degenertive disease(multiple system atrophy) and is in need of constant medical attention.
Due to the ongoing lockdown, a lot set-systems have been affected and medical service is also one of the many to be compromised. The whole medical facility is busy battling coronavirus and this leaves them with no time to attend other patients. A few days earlier, former Asian Games gold medalist Dingko Singh was also struggling to get radiation therapy.
Limba, the first archer to represent India at the Olympics, was diagnosed with Neurocysticercoses condition and reports have indicated that his brain has worms which are blocking his nerves.
