India has made a change to its squad for the upcoming three-match Women's ODI series against Australia, with top-order batter Uma Chetry replacing the injured Yastika Bhatia.

The move comes after Bhatia sustained a wrist injury during her participation in the ongoing Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) in Australia.

"The All India Women's Selection Committee has named Uma Chetry as the replacement for Yastika Bhatia in the squad," the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced in a statement on Wednesday.

Bhatia has represented India in three Tests, 28 ODIs, and 19 T20Is.

The three-match ODI series will begin on December 5 at Allan Border Field in Brisbane, with the second match scheduled for December 8 at the same venue.

The third and final ODI will be held at the WACA Ground in Perth on December 11. The series is part of the ICC Women's Championship, which serves as a qualifier for the 2026 Women's Cricket World Cup.
