Led by Minnu Mani, the Indian team lost to Australia A by 45 runs.

After setting a challenging target of 289 runs, Australia A secured the victory, thanks to a disciplined display by their batters and bowlers.

Despite the loss, a few Indian players stood out with remarkable performances that highlighted their potential on the international stage.

Let's take a closer look at Indian players who showed signs of promise.

1. Minnu Mani

Minnu Mani, the captain of India A, led from the front with an outstanding all-round display.

She was India's most impactful player, especially with the ball in hand as she scalped 11 wickets in the match. In the first innings, Mani led from the front by dismissing Australian captain Charli Knott and their key players including Maitlan Brown and Grace Parsons. She eventually ended up with a figure of 5 for 58 in 21 overs.

She ran through the Australians in the second innings as well. She dismantled Australia's top-order and completed another five-wicket haul, finishing the innings with six wickets for 92 runs.

2. Priya Mishra

Priya Mishra was another instrumental player in India A's bowling department, consistently breaking crucial partnerships.

She made a remarkable impact by ending Australia's 56-run opening stand in the first innings by dismissing Emma de Broughe with a brilliant googly.

Mishra went on to take four wickets in that innings, ending with figures of 4 for 58 in 20.3 overs.

In the second innings, she continued to trouble the Australian batters, claiming two more wickets, including the prized scalp of de Broughe once again.

Her consistent performances throughout the match made her a key player in the Indian bowling lineup.

3. Shweta Sehrawat

Shweta Sehrawat was the most dependable batter for India A in this match.

In the first innings, she played a crucial knock, scoring 40 off 120 balls, providing stability at the top of the order.

Her innings helped India avoid an early collapse.

In the second innings, she started well again, contributing 21 off 49 before falling to Charli Knott. Although her scores weren't massive, her ability to anchor the innings and take crucial catches - four in the match - made her a vital asset to the team.
