Smriti Mandhana and Deepti Sharma were also named in the ICC WODI Team of the Year on Friday.
Indian women cricket stalwarts Smriti Mandhana, wicket-keeper Richa Ghosh, and all-rounder Deepti Sharma have been named in the ICC Women's T20I Team of the Year 2024 on Saturday.
The list was dominated by the Indians, with South Africa being the only other country to have more than one player in the team.
Smriti and Deepti were also named in the ICC Women's ODI Team of the Year 2024 on Friday by ICC.
Rewarded for consistency
Smriti had a year to remember with the bat in T20Is, scoring 763 runs from 23 matches including eight half-centuries.
She ended the year as the second-ranked batter in the ICC T20I rankings thanks to her consistency across the year.
Richa, known for her aggressive batting, also made headlines, scoring 365 runs from 21 matches at an astonishing 156.65 strike rate.
She was quick-witted behind the wickets as well, inflicting quick stumpings and taking sharp catches.
Deepti Sharma continued her exploits with both bat and ball in 2024, but more so with the ball.
The off-spinner picked up 30 wickets at an average of just 17.80 and an economy of 6.01, while also contributing with the bat with a few explosive hits at the death.
