India's veteran pacer Jhulan Goswami took her 40th wicket in Women's Cricket World Cup history vs West Indies on Saturday. She is now the highest wicket taker in the tournament's history.

She reached the landmark with the wicket of another bowling legend - Anisa Mohammed. This came after she was hit for five fours in an over earlier in the match.

She had earlier drawn level with Australia's Lyn Fullston as the highest wicket-taker in the tournament's history during Thursday's match against New Zealand.

Goswami, who has been one of the most loyal servants of Indian women's cricket, took her 39th wicket in  India's clash against the hosts at the ongoing Women's Cricket World Cup 2022 match at Seddon Park, Hamilton.
