What is at stake for India
Every Davis Cup tie matters and at stake for India is a spot in next year’s qualifiers.
The vanquished, meanwhile, will be relegated to the World Group I playoffs.
Ahead of the tie, Indian Captain Rohit Rajpal hinted that his team will play to their strengths.
“Both ram and Balaji are great net players. They have great serves and love to get in and volley. We want to take all the pressure to them. They have to do a lot to pass these guys, they’re tall and big guys and have good reach. The idea is to take the pressure to them.”
