Asian Table Tennis C'ships: India women win bronze, men's team advance to the semis -Highlights

The Indian women's team won their first bronze medal at the Asian Table Tennis Championships 2024, after their defeat to the Japanese in the semi-finals. 

On the other hand, the Indian men's team advanced to the semis, defeating Kazakhstan   

Meanwhile, Manav Thakkar and Manika Batra advanced to the round of 16 in the mixed doubles category.  

Manush Shah and Diya Chitale lost their round of 32 tie in the mixed doubles category.

The Indian pair lost to Chinese Taipei duo Feng Yi-Hsin and Cheng Hsien-Tzu in a closely fought five-game thriller 2-3 (13-11, 8-11, 8-11, 11-8, 9-11).
