London Squash Classic: Anahat Singh storms into the quarters
Ramit Tandon exited in the second round after losing to Mohamed ElShorbagy 10-12, 9-11.

Anahat Singh stormed into the quarterfinals of the PSA Gold-tier London Squash Classic 2026 in England on Thursday.
The Junior World Champion defeated World No. 11 Nele Gilis of Belgium 2-1 (13-11, 4-11, 11-8) in 39 minutes to book her place in the last eight.
Anahat and Gilis were facing each other for the first time.
The 18-year-old Indian will now play the winner of the clash between Egypt's Nardine Garas and third seed Siva Subramaniam of Malaysia.
Meanwhile, Ramit Tandon failed to advance beyond round two, losing to England’s World No. 15 Mohamed ElShorbagy 2-0 (10-12, 9-11) in 29 minutes.
World No. 42 Ramit is yet to register a win against ElShorbagy, who holds a 4-0 head-to-head record against the Indian.
Earlier, Veer Chotrani faced a first round exit, losing to Yannick Wilhelmi in straight games. Anahat is the only Indian remaining in action at the USD 144,000 PSA Gold-tier tournament.
