Paralympics LIVE: On Tuesday afternoon, the Indian shooters were back in action at the 2024 Paralympics.
Avani Lekhara and Mona Agarwal were in action in the women's 50m air rifle 3 positions qualifications, the final was also scheduled in the later part of the day.
Where Avani Lekhara finished fifth and couldn't replicate Tokyo's success.
However, both Avani and Mona, having already bagged medals at the ongoing Paralympics.

A decent series of 50.4 means that Avani will go into the elimination round while placed fifth in the ranking table.
After four shots of 10 and above, Avani shot a poor 8.3 in the last shot of the first series of the standing position. She is placed at 6th at the moment with a gap of 5.7 from the bronze medal position.
A poor series from Avani with two shots of 9.8 and 9.1. She is placed sixth now and needs a really good series to come back to the medal hunt.
Avani had regained her lead to the top but a 9.8 in the last shot meant that she was third after the first series in the prone position.
Avani started well in the third series shot 10.6, 10.4, and 10.8 in the first three shots to make sure that she is back in the medal hunt.
Avani started well with a 10.6 but the next three shots were 9.2, 9.0, and 9.9 pulling her down to the fifth spot.
