Men's Shot Put - F40 Final: Ravi Rongali finishes 5th

This was a brave effort from Ravi.

He kept improving his mark with every throw for the first three throws before running out of steam.

Ravi might have finished out of the medals but his personal best effort of 10.63m is truly commendable.

Meanwhile, Miguel Monteiro of Portugal won gold with a Paralympic Record of 11.21m.

His final throw is 10.00m.

Unfortunately, that still keeps him in 5th position and with no more throws left, sadly there will be no medal for India's Ravi Rongali.

This is a below-par throw and he's still in 5th position.

This is yet another Personal Best for Ravi.

He has just bettered the PB he set in his 2nd throw. He's improved with every throw.

That said, he's currently in 4th position after three-rounds.

Miguel Monteiro (Portugal) has just registered 11.21m which is a new Paralympic Record. 

He continues to lead the field.
