Rakesh jumps to third in the compound ranking round after 48 arrows!
A remarkable eighth round from Rakesh sees him jump to the third spot with 469 points!
He is just four off Xinliang who is no.1 with 473.
Shyam, meanwhile, goes to 15th with 461 points after a disappointing series.
Pooja in sixth place after seven rounds.
Pooja slipped up by one position and is in sixth after six rounds of the women's recurve ranking round, with 347 points.

With 409 points, Rakesh remains in fifth spot but Shyam slips to 13th with 404 points.
The point-gap is not that big so Shyam is most definitely still in the mix.

Rakesh and Shyam take a big leap after the fifth round!
In the men's compound archery ranking round, both Indians, Rakesh and Shyam entered into the top 10, with the former now in 5th spot with 292 points, just four away from the no.1 ranked Xinliang Ai.
Shyam Sundar too, climbs to 8th spot with 290 points, just two behind Rakesh and six behind Xinliang.
Pooja slips to 12th after the fifth round!
With 240 points, Pooja goes down by two rankings and is in 12th place at the end of five rounds, or 30 arrows shot.
Pooja is in 10th after 24 arrows in the recurve ranking round.
Pooja, India's lone archer in women's individual recurve, is in 10th spot after 24 of the 72 arrows have been shot.
She has a score of 193, with Italy's Elisabetta Mijno topping the table with 210 points.
Men's individual recurve ranking round update:
India's Rakesh Kumar is in ninth spot after 24 arrows, with 232 points.
Shyam Sundar is in 12th place after 24 arrows, with 231 points.
A total of 72 arrows will be shot by the archers in the men's individual ranking event.
