Paralympics 2024 Para-Shooting: Sidhartha Babu, Mona Agarwal bows out in Qualification- Highlights

Avani Lekhara clinched Gold to begin India's prowess, Manish Narwal added a silver to the same, while Mona Agarwal and Rubina Francis clinched Bronze respectively. 

Avani Lekhara was the only athlete to compete in 2 finals, She ended in the 5th position at the 50m Rifle 3 positions. 

All other Indian shooters, couldn't qualify for the finals.

With one final event to go, India is currently in 4th position in the shooting medal tally behind, South Korea, China, and Slovakia.

Indian shooters, Mona Agarwal finished in 30th position, while Sidhartha Babu ended in 22nd position.

Sdhartha Babu ends the sixth series with a 10.1, 10.5, 10.2, 10.1 and a 10.6.

Mona begins with a 10.3, 10.5, up by 0.1 to hit back-to-back 10.6s, and ends with a 10.0.

A round of 102.4, the best in the event for Mona, ends the competition in 31st position.

Mona starts with a 10.4 and hits back-to-back 10.2s, 10.3 and 9.3.

Sidhartha hits a 10.5 to start, hits 10.2, gets to 10.6, and ends with a 10.0 and 10.6.

Mona finally gets one in the 10s to start, hits a 10.1, 10.2, 10.7, 106 and an underwhelming 9.2. 

Sidhartha falls below the 10.5s, hits 10.3, 2 10.0s, 10.1 and a 9.9.

Back-to-back 10.5s to start for Sidhartha, misses the 10-point mark hits a 9.7, up by 10.1, and ends with a 10.6.

Mona again hits it in the 9s, gets a 9.9, 9.6, 2 10.6s and a 10.3.
