Nithya Sre Sivan and Sivrajan Solaimalai in action at the semifinal of XD SH6 category at Paris Paralympics.
Six Indian para-shuttlers will be in action on Day 3 of the Paris Paralympics 2024.
Nitesh Kumar and Manoj Sarkar will compete in the men’s singles Standing Lower group stage matches, while Sukant Kadam and Tarun Dhillon will participate in the men’s singles SL4 group stage match.
Meanwhile, women para-shuttlers Manisha Ramadass will be in action in the women’s singles SL3 Group Stage match, and Mandeep Kaur will compete in the women’s singles Standing Upper 5 group stage match.
The quarterfinals and semifinal matches will be announced later today.
As it happened:
Indian mixed doubles pairing of Nithya Sre Sivan and Sivarajan Solaimalai lost their semifinal match to the American pairing of Miles Krajewski and Jayci Simon in a three-game affair (21-17, 14-21, 13-21).
They will now take on the Indonesian pair of Rina Marlina and Subhan in the bronze medal match of the XD SH6 category.
