Paralympics 2024: Indians in action on August 29, Schedule, timings

The 17th edition of the Summer Paralympic Games is up on our horizon as Paris is set to host this marquee event from July 29th. This 11-day multi-sport extravaganza will offer a total of 549 medal events.

Indian Paralympic contingent is also ready to take part in the Games with their largest ever contingent of 84 athletes, who will take part in across 12 sports.

The five of those sports will be unveiled on the first day of the Paris Games as the para-shuttlers and para-archers will begin their group stage and ranking round action respectively.

Whereas, the medal event will commence in Para-Taekwondo and Para-cycling as Aruna Tanwar and Jyoti Gaderiya will be in action on Thursday.
