Harika Dronavalli fought hard but lost 11-15 against Hou Yifan of China in the final of women speed chess championship 2023.
This is the second title for Hou Yifan at this championship, both time she won against Harika in the final, last time in 2021.

Compound archer Sheetal Devi lost her final against Singapore player on a shootoff after a 142-142 draw in five ends.
Both archers shot a 10 in the shootoff but Singapore player won on the virtue of closest to the centre.
Harika Dronavalli continued her good form at the tournament and takes a 12-10 win over Kateryna Lagno of Russia in the Semis to book a place in the Final of Women's Speed chess championship.
In the final, she will play against Hou Yifan of China for the title later today .

Priyanshu Rajawat losses out in first round of S-750 tournament after his straight set (17-21, 14-21) lose to Kenta Nishimoto of Japan.
Lakshya Sen and Kidambi Srikanth will be in action soon for their Round of 32 clashes against chinese and Thai opponent respectively.
