Deepika scored the only goal for India in the match after converting a penalty corner despite an error in holding by the stopper.

With this, she ends her tournament with an impressive 11-goal haul.

Indian team breaks the deadlock in the very first minute of the second half as they win a penalty corner in the 31st minute.

However, it was a poor halt by the Indian player but they re-entered the Chinese penalty circle after Navneet's accurate pass to Deepika, who converted it with a reverse flick shot on a down-the-ground shot.

Deepika had a chance to double India's lead but her penalty stroke was easily saved by the Chinese goalkeeper, keeping them in the game with one quarter to go.
