Defending champions India started the title defense of the 2024 Men's Junior Hockey Asia Cup with a big win over Thailand.
The Indian junior men's hockey team scored 11 goals against Thailand in the opening game and will look to continue their momentum in the title defense.
Playing under the tutelage of the legendary Indian goalkeeper PR Sreejesh, the Indian team looks prime contender to win the title.
The teams in the tournament are divided into two pools with the top two teams entering the semi-finals.
