Hyderabad Toofans delivered a magnificent performance as the side defeated UP Rudras 3-1 at the Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela on Saturday.
Arshdeep Singh scored a brace, while Gonzalo Peillat scored one goal for the Toofans. Jobanpreet Singh scored the solitary goal for the UP Rudras.
The Toofans was sharp at attack while being sturdy at the defence.
With this win, the Hyderabad Toofans surged to the top spot on the points table, with 17 points from nine matches.
