Halftime: Manipur 2-2 Odisha

We've witnessed an exciting first half in the first semifinals of the Senior Men's Hockey Nationals.

Odisha have had more possession but Manipur have defended very well and have shown impetus in attack.

All to play for in the second half. Don't go anywhere.

28' Roshan Ranjit is injured! He is taken off

It looks to be a muscular injury for Roshan as he limps off the field and is substituted.

With less than two minutes to go for the end of the first half, this could be a crucial turn of events for Manipur, level with Odisha at the moment at 2-2.

26' Wonderful response from Manipur! They make it 2-2!

What a match this is turning out to be!

Manipur respond immediately to going behind, thanks to lackadaisical defending from Odisha.

The keeper is mainly at fault whose clearance fell kindly onto the bat of the incoming Manipur player Ningombam Jenjen Singh who lays it to Ganendrajit Ningombam and he placed his shot to perfection!

Brilliant finish from the attacker and Manipur have drawn level.

20' Odisha make it 2-1! Shilanand in the scoresheet!

A wonderful move from Odisha, starting with a long ball over the top from the right side, taken down by the attacker who then lays it in the circle for the incoming players, and Shilaland taps the ball into the net from the pass.

Like the match against Karnataka, Odisha refuse to lie down despite going behind.

How will Manipur respond now?

End of the first quarter, Manipur 1-1 Odisha

It is all level at the end of the first quarter with both teams scoring one goal each.

Odisha squandered their first PC and soon after that, Manipur made the most of their PC, earning a penalty stroke and NIlakanta Sharma made no mistake from the spot.

Odisha did earn another PC and this time, they made no mistakes as they converted and made it 1-1.

Odisha level things up! 1-1 now!

Nilam Sanjeep's drag flick was placed perfectly in the top right corner and Odisha are back on level terms.

Shilanand Lakra set things up with a very good injection and Nilam did the rest.

It has been an invigorating first quarter and both teams are not pulling their punches.

11' Second PC for Odisha!

They must capitalize on this and make it 1-1 as Manipur are looking dangerous.
