The Indian hockey team was back in action on Thursday in their fourth group-stage game of the 2024 Men's Asian Champions Trophy against South Korea.
The defending champions put up a show of supreme confidence and effected a 3-1 victory over Korea in what was their fourth consecutive victory of the tournament.

The Player of the Match award goes to India's Suraj Karkera, the goal keeper.

When asked about the pressure of replacing Sreejesh, Karkera said, "There's no pressure, the coach has given us all the freedom. We've been training with Sree-bhai for a while and know what to do. He's a legend of the game and there's no replacing him. We as goal keepers know our job".

They're able to build from their half but they're just lacking the finishing touch in the Korean circle.
They're sitting pretty for the moment though with a two-goal cushion.
India bring the ball away from their backline all the way across the field with a string of superb passes but a pass across the face of the Korean goal doesn't find an Indian stick.
Another goal here should do the trick for India.
