HALF TIME!
A very interesting 30 minutes of play that at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium. Both teams had their chances and both teams did convert one apiece.
If the Delhi SG Pipers called the shots in the first quarter, Team Gonasika regrouped and came out as the better team in the second phase of play. They found a goal via Struan Waller, while Oliver Payne has been solid in front of the goal.
The momentum might have just shifted in Gonasika's favour in the last few minutes of that quarter and we have an interesting second half ahead of us.

A PC for Delhi SG Pipers and they try a variation. Jarmanpreet Singh takes a shot at the goal, but Oliver Payne just lays down and blocks it. A bit of tussle for the ball inside the circle, but no harm done.

A shot from Araijeet Hundal and Nikkin Thimmaiah tires to cheekily deflect it, but it hits the post. Struan Walker is in front of an empty goal to take the rebound and he just calmly taps it in for Gonasika. THEY HAVE EQUALISED! A proper team effort that from Gonasika.

The first penalty corner of the match for Team Gonasika and they fail to take the advantage. Not the best of injections from Vishnukant, and Victor Charlet's drag flick is deflected away rather easily.

A very dangerous move from Team Gonasika and Delhi SG Pipers have their defence water tight to clear it out. They create a counter attack of their own and Sumit takes a shot, which is saved by Oliver Payne.

Mandeep Singh with a nice little pass to Lee Morton, who gets in a shot which is blocked rather easily by Rennie Benjamin of Delhi SG Pipers.

A defensive lapse from Gonasika on the left flank sees Jarmanpreet Singh send in an easy ball to the circle. Goalkeeper Oliver Payne ensures that there's no damage done. Could have been costly for Gonasika, this.
