Indian women's hockey team took on Germany in their penultimate match of the FIH Pro League season 2023-24 to continue their London Leg on Saturday.
Indian women's team going through a tough transition phase, haven't won a single match in their last six pro league matches and were siting on the eighth position with just 8 points out of 14 matches.
As it happened:
A poor defensive display from Indian team in the final quarter to concede two goals. They also lack composure in the final third and could not convert the chances they won.
This is the seventh consecutive defeat for the Indian hockey women's team and this will hurt more as they lost from a situation where they were leading by 2-0.
They will be in action tomorrow against Great Britain for their final match of this Pro league season.
