The event, comprising 24 disciplines and held at multiple venues across Bengaluru, was a state government initiative with the Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah having declared that the objective was to give young athletes a platform to excel.

For Aahida Singh, a tennis prodigy ranked No. 7 in the All India Tennis Association rankings for her age group, the gold medals in the singles, doubles, and team events were an outcome of everyday hard work.
“Rafael Nadal has been my inspiration. His resilience and work ethic are qualities I strive to embody in my own career. Winning gold here has been a reflection of that hard work,” she added.
