ISL Transfers: Vishal Kaith extends his contract with Mohun Bagan SG
Vishal Kaith, who joined Mohun Bagan SG in 2022, signed a four-year deal with the Kolkata club that will expire in 2029.

Goalkeeper Vishal Kaith signed a four-year contract extension with Mohun Bagan Super Giant, the club confirmed in a press release on Sunday.
After signing the agreement, Kaith said, "I want to play for Mohun Bagan for all my life. The love and affection of the Mohun Bagan fans are so valuable to me that I could not think of leaving the club despite having offers from many other clubs. That is why I have signed a long-term deal."
"For his commitment to the club, passion for the green and maroon jersey, and for his excellent performance, Mohun Bagan Super Giant team management extended their contract with one of the country's best goalkeepers for four more years," the Kolkata-based club stated in the release.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper joined Mohun Bagan from Chennaiyin FC in 2022. He has been the club's mainstay under the three sticks ever since.
Born and brought up in Rohru, Himachal Pradesh, Kaith loved gloves work a lot. He was also passionate about wicketkeeping but chose goalkeeping over it.
Vishal played a pivotal role in Mohun Bagan's first ISL Shield title win in the 2023-24 season.
Ahead of the forthcoming season of ISL, he said, "Our team is stronger than the last season. We have the capablity of winning the ISL and the Super Cup. We will also play against the best teams of Asia in the Asian Champions Legaue divsion two. There, my big challenge will be to maintain a cleansheet."
