India will face Bangladesh in the opener of the SAFF U17 Championship 2024 in Bhutan.
The Indian men's U17 team took on Nepal in the semifinal-1 of the SAFF U17 Championship on Saturday.
India qualified for the semi-finals after topping their group with two consecutive wins against Bangladesh and Maldives.

It was an exciting second half in this semi-final match as there were six goals in the half, including four goals post the 80-minute mark, two each for both teams, confirming India's place in the final of the SAFF U17 Championship.
Firstly, Vishal Yadav scored a brace in the first 15 minutes of the second half but hen Nepal pulled back one in the 82nd minute, sighting a late comeback in the match.
But, the goals from substitute players Rishi Singh and Hemneichung Lunkim confirmed India's place in the back-to-back final of the SAFF U17 Championship.

It was a goalless first half but there were good chances for both the teams but didn't utilize their chances, especially the Indian team who was left at bay because of the brilliant goalkeeping of the Nepali goalkeeper.
