Just before the close of the transfer window, Kerala Blasters FC secured the signing of Jesús Jiménez as per reports.

Jiménez joins the Blasters after a stint with the Greek club OFI Crete.

Jiménez's football journey began in Spain with youth stints at Lugo de Fuenlabrada and Atlético Madrid before he joined CD Leganés' academy at 16. His performances at Atlético Pinto in Tercera División set the stage for his future success.

Jiménez then signed with CD Illescas, where he made a notable impact by scoring 15 goals in 36 appearances.

This form earned him a move to CF Talavera de la Reina, where he continued his prolific scoring, netting 26 league goals in his first season and helping the club gain promotion to Segunda División B.

Jiménez’s career took him abroad when he joined Polish side Górnik Zabrze.

His time in Poland was marked by consistent performances, including a memorable hat-trick on the opening day of the 2020–21 season. He was a key figure alongside Igor Angulo, contributing significantly to the team’s attack.

In 2022, Jiménez made the move to Major League Soccer, signing with Toronto FC.

debut came in the season opener against FC Dallas, and he scored his first goal soon after. A subsequent trade to FC Dallas in February 2023 led to a brief stint before he mutually parted ways with the club at the season's end.

Jiménez's latest chapter before arriving at Kerala Blasters was with OFI Crete in the Super League Greece.
