Mohammedan Sporting Club made their much-anticipated debut at the Indian Super League (ISL) at the Kishore Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata on Monday, September 16.

By virtue of becoming the I-league champions last season, Mohammedan Sporting Club have now entered a new phase of their 133-year existence.

On the other hand, the Highlanders, fresh from their Durand Cup victory looked to carry their winning momentum into the ISL.
