Corner for India! Chhangte delivers the ball into the box, and Sandesh Jhingan rises to meet it, but he can't connect cleanly. A missed opportunity for India as they continue to push for an equalizer.

Second half begins!

We're back for the second half! India is trailing 1-0 and will be looking to come out strong to turn the game around. Can they find an equalizer and shift the momentum?

Syria leads 1-0 as the teams head into the break. India has had a few promising moments, including two free kicks, but they’ve struggled to break down the Syrian defense. Plenty to play for in the second half as India looks to mount a comeback. Stay tuned for more updates!

Another free kick for India, this time from a promising position! Lallianzuala Chhangte delivers a well-placed ball, and Manvir Singh manages to get a touch, but Syria's defense stands strong with a crucial block. India is still pushing for that equalizer as we head towards halftime.

41' India struggling!

As we approach the half-time mark, India is struggling to find their rhythm. Syria's early goal still separates the two teams, and India is finding it difficult to break through the defense. They'll need to regroup quickly if they want to turn things around.

Free kick for India! Anwar Ali steps up to take it, but his shot is blocked by the Syrian wall. India continues to press as they search for an equalizer. 

32': India 0-1 Syria, Irandust gets a yellow!

Irandust brings down the Indian player and earns a yellow for his tactical foul. 

The resulting freekick is cleared away quite easily by the Syrian defenders. 

28': India 0-1 Syria, Chhangte heads it over!

Once again, India attack well from the left, and Subhasish plays in an inviting cross and Chhangte heads it wide of the goal. 

India have looked much better in the last five minutes and this is exactly what Manolo would want them to do more. 

26': India 0-1 Syria, Much better from India!

India finally show some attacking intent with a good cross played from the left side, but the Syrian goalkeeper was equal to the task and collected it without any fuss. 

This is what India should try and do more of by playing out of the Syrian press and putting the ball in the box. 

24': India 0-1 Syria, Delightful from Alaswad!

Alaswad floors two Indian defenders and glided into the Indian box and his cutback was met with a powerful shot by the attacker but India managed to block it and the resulting shot was wayward!

All Syria at the moment. Manolo Marques, the Indian head coach is not at all happy and the Indian dugout looks forlorn.
