AIFF secure commercial rights deal with Shrachi Sports for premier football leagues
This deal covers the broadcasting and production of 338 football matches, including premier competitions such as the I-League, I-League 2 and IWL.
The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has signed a significant commercial rights agreement with Shrachi Sports Endeavour Private Limited for the 2024-25 season.
This deal covers the broadcasting and production of 338 football matches, including premier competitions such as the I-League, I-League 2, IWL, Senior National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy, and Senior Women's National Football Championship for Rajmata Jijabai Trophy.
As part of this partnership, the senior men's and women's club leagues, as well as national championship matches, will be streamed on the SSEN app.
Additionally, 110 out of the 132 I-League matches will be broadcast live on Sony Sports Network, ensuring a broader reach for Indian football.
AIFF Secretary General Mr. Anilkumar expressed optimism about the deal, stating, “This significant partnership will help Indian football get the necessary exposure it deserves.”
Mr. Rahul Todi, Managing Director of Shrachi Sports, emphasized the importance of this partnership for both the development of Indian football and the increasing visibility of the sport.
He said, “It is indeed a historic day for Shrachi Sports to be partnering with AIFF. This will provide a platform for men and women players to showcase their talents to national and international audiences with high-quality HD content.”
