The Odisha FC Women's team played their second group stage match of the inaugural edition of the AFC Women's Champions League on Wednesday.
The Indian side took on the host Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam, sighting their first points on the board after suffering a dreadful 0-17 defeat to Urawa Red Diamonds Ladies in the opener.

Odisha FC fought hard in the second half and also scored their maiden goal at the AFC Women's Champions League but it wasn't enough for them as Ho Chi Minh City registered their second consecutive win and progressed to the quarterfinals.
Jennifer scored a crucial goal for the Indian side with a brilliant finish on the near side of the goalkeeper but a late injury-time winner from Ngô Thị Hồng Nhung sealed the game for the hosts.

Odisha FC showed a better defense than the last match but still a few laps in mistakes caused them two goals in the first half.
Ho Chi Minh City scored the opening goal in the first minute of the match as they caught Odisha's defense off-guard and won a corner which was later converted into goal with a superb header on the top right corner.
The hosts doubled their lead in the dying minutes when Odisha Defence left their winger unmarked who assisted for a simple tap of Huỳnh Nhu.
