India's Pankaj Advani and Shruthi L were crowned the men's and women's 2026 World Billiards Champions respectively at the Landywood Snooker Club in United Kingdom.

Advani, who had last won the World Billiards Championship back in 2014, beat Robert Hall in the final to clinch what was his fourth title.

He had previously won the title in 2005 and 2009.

Advani got the better of nine-time world champion Hall 1906-1206 in the final.

Advani's triumph came just a day after Shruthi L completed her hat-trick of World Billiards Championship title wins.

Shruthi had defeated Sweden's Eva Palmius in the final with a score of 414-153 in the final on Thursday.

She had recorded a high break of 105 during the title clash.

The win over Palmius also marked the third straight women's billiards world championship title for Shruthi, who was also crowned the champion in 2024 and 2025.
