Coronavirus: Footballer Zakeer Mundampara offers his house as quarantine center

Mundampara is ready to let those or relatives of those who are undergoing as well as health workers to occupy his two-storied home at Areekode in Kerala.

Former Kerala Blasters midfielder Zakeer Mundampara has stepped forward to play his role in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. The 29-year-old has offered his home as a quarantine center.

Mundampara is ready to let those or relatives of those who are undergoing as well as health workers to occupy his two-storied home at Areekode in Kerala.

Mundampara said that his aim was to make life easy for those who have been advised home quarantine. Meanwhile, he has moved into his wife's house in Edavanna. The couple have a daughter and are expecting another child soon.

Mundampara has played for Kerala in the Santosh Trophy besides donning the colours of Blasters, Chennaiyin FC, and Mumbai City FC in the Indian Super League.
