Expanded Cycling and Swimming events
The Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome will host the largest Track Cycling programme ever, with 26 medal events, doubling the Para Track Cycling events from Birmingham 2022.
The Tollcross International Swimming Centre will see a record 56 medal events, with the men’s 800m Freestyle and women’s 1500m Freestyle making their Commonwealth debut.
Athletics will see the return of the Commonwealth Mile, last run in 1966, along with a Mixed 4x400m relay.
