The 24-year-old Sandeep Singh Mann will be competing at his third senior World Championships, but he has never won a medal and will be aiming to achieve this feat in Tirana.

He last won a medal at an international tournament in 2019 where he won the bronze medal at the Junior Asian Championships. 

Hw will take on the young 21-year-old Nurdaulet Bekenov of Kazakhstan in the round of 32. Nurdaulet is coming here after winning a bronze medal at the Asian U23 Championships earlier this year.
