That's all we have from India's clash against England in their opening encounter of the 2022 Women's Hockey World Cup. England struck early on with a field goal, before Vandana Katariya helped India equalise with a PC rebound towards the dying minutes of the first half.

The second half remained goal-less with England enjoying a majority of the possession, but the young Indian side held up well to walk away with a draw. The women in blue though will surely be disappointed with the number of PCs they missed and would be eager to bounce back stronger.
