India went down fighting against New Zealand and survived in the Hockey World Cup 2022. India needs to regroup and think about what they were missing. India was brilliant in patches but they failed to convert their chances. 

Udita was brilliant for India as they defended well and made marauding runs on the flanks. Lalremsiami and Vandana shone on the forward line. Deep Grace Ekka needs to back herself more as she was nowhere close to her best today.

India plays the host Spain next in crossovers on 10th July.
