Thulasimathi Murugesan and Manisha Ramadass wins silver and bronze respectively

India has a double podium in the women's singles SU5 category as Thulasimathi Murugesan and Manisha Ramadass won a silver and bronze medal respectively.

Thulasimathi concedes a straight-game defeat (17-21, 10-21) to Yang Qiuxia of China in the final but confirms her silver medal in the debut Paralympics.

Meanwhile, Manisha Ramadass had a dominating (21-12, 21-8) win over Denmark's Catherine Rosengren in the bronze medal match.
