Annu Rani finishes first in javelin throw, fails to clinch direct Olympic qualification

Annu Rani's first throw proved to be her best one. The Meerut girl wins the gold medal by setting a new Meet record but fails to cross the 64m mark for direct Olympic qualification.

She, however, stays in contention to qualify for the Olympics.
