Women's 400m final - What a finish!

Uttar Pradesh's Rupal overtakes Tamil Nadu's R Vithiya Ramraj in the last 70m to take women's 400m title with a time of 52.55. Vithiya crossed the finish line in 52.81.

Both Rupal and Vithiya breach the Asian Athletics Championships qualification mark of 53.80s.

Medalists: Gold - Rupal - Uttar Pradesh

Silver - R Vithiya Ramraj - Tamil Nadu

Bronze - Sneha K - Kerala

Interestingly, six athletes ran better than the qualifying mark.
