East Bengal looked awkward in defense in the first half and hence also conceded an early goal as Marcos showed some good physical play to leave his marker behind and tap in a goal on the rebound.

Since then, East Bengal tried to make a few good moves but wasn't able to find a clear-cut shot on goal and ended the first half, trailing by a lone goal from Marcos.

East Bengal will have to work on their finishing in the second half and also have to be tight at the back end while Lajong will try to defend their goal and hut East Bengal on the ounter attack.
